The meditations consist of a sitting and walking meditation.

The sitting meditation  involves a particular process that will be covered when we get together. However I assure you there is no confrontation, no telling you how to think or what you should believe. I don’t touch you or lead you once you start. I discuss it with you, describe what to do, let you do it, and at the end I am available to talk with for you to explore and understand what you found.

This sitting meditation produces, if you let it and don’t resist it, a state where you are deeper than your thoughts. You settle into an area that is highly aware but is not subject to responses from your normal daily thoughts and feelings. This state allows you to examine almost anything you need to yet you don’t get swept up in your normal responses. You can allow this deeper part to present a situation, examine it, understand it, and let go of it so the affects
of that past situation release you. If you do this enough, then the energies you use to keep these events out of mind and buried can now be redeployed to energize you and renew you. Once you do this enough, it is possible for that deeper part to surface into your everyday world. Quite a change, and so much deeper and aware.

The Walking Meditation is a specific walk that draws in energy and reduces the hold of the day to day world. It is not a complicated process, but it is highly affective if used constantly. There are variations that can be taught for different living situation, but the basic idea is the same. Again, I don’t touch you or make demands of you, I simply describe the way to walk, and then accompany you the first time you try it.

So, it is simple, it is safe, and highly affective.
